2026 CANUSA Games | Flint, Michigan | August 7th to 9th
CANUSA Hamilton is looking for soccer athletes interested in representing Hamilton at the 2026 CANUSA Games in Flint, Michigan.
Tryouts are open to boys and girls ages 10 to 16. This first tryout will help determine athlete interest and potential team formation for the 2026 Games.

Time: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Location: Billy Sherring Park
Ages: 10 to 16
Open To: Boys and Girls
CANUSA Hamilton is also looking for volunteer soccer coaches to help lead the 2026 soccer program.

Athletes selected to Team Hamilton must be available to travel to Flint, Michigan from August 7th to 9th, 2026.
All athletes must possess a valid Canadian passport. Birth certificates will not be accepted for travel this year.
Athletes under 18 years of age will participate in the CANUSA Games billeting program, staying with a host family from Flint, Michigan for the weekend. A modified billeting option may also be available.

While she doesn’t remember the games being too challenging – Cannon scored two goals in two games, – the experience of travelling to an unexplored place to play the sport she loves is one that Cannon is happy to have had.

Carrie Boschman, a passionate advocate for youth sports and community engagement, found her journey with CANUSA through her children’s participation. Over the past seven years, she’s been deeply involved, initially volunteering in registration and gradually expanding her role.
Beyond CANUSA, Carrie serves as the Marketing Director for the Stoney Creek Girls Hockey Association, leveraging her expertise to enhance youth sports programs. Professionally, she’s a Technical Sales Advisor for petroleum-based products, showcasing her dedication to both community involvement and professional pursuits.
Recognized for her commitment, Carrie received the Ivan Miller Award in 2023. For her, the most rewarding aspect of CANUSA is witnessing the lasting friendships and memories forged among participants, showcasing the true spirit of sportsmanship and community.
